I purchased these for my new Wintec saddle a few months ago. I really love the fact they do not create a lump under my leg. Much more comfortable than the old style of leathers! And they were butter soft as soon as they came out of the box, no breaking in needed! It is a big pain to run them up, so I just flip them over the top of the saddle and let them hang on the opposite side, which works great. And make sure you go by your inseam, don't go by your height! I ordered the 28 because I'm only 5'5". However, I do have long legs, so I had to put them in the very last hole, they are almost too short! They are easy to adjust, both on the ground and in the saddle.

I like these "leathers" because they are synthetic and don't require oiling, they are easy to adjust, durable (I've had my pair for 2 years now and they still look new) and there is a lot less bulk under the leg. I love how they just slip right onto the stirrup bar.

A good friend of mine has these on her saddle. I got to try them out one day and fell in LOVE with them. They are really great for me since I am short. I have to have a long stirrup in order to mount, even with a mounting block. Then I have to adjust the stirrups when I get up there. They are so much easier to ride in and they are a breeze to adjust. I loved them so much that I had to buy a pair of my own. I cant wait till I get to use them!

This is an absolutely fabulous solution to reducing the amount of stirrup leather under a riders leg. I have used the same pair since 1991 its a bit frayed on the edges but still works perfectly. Its also a lot easier to adjust since you dont have to move around in the saddle as you do with conventional leathers. I would never consider using the oldfashioned leathers again.
