This cinch is my go-to for comfort and safety, every time. Really grips the horse without causing sweat like neoprene. Large surface area a plus. Buckles are big and round, measure length carefully. If your saddle slips, maybe it's not the cinch but the saddle fit.

I bought this cinch about one year ago and I have been using it since. This cinch works great on my 13.3 hand pony, and she is a gamer. Although it does get very dirty after one ride it is very easy to clean. Just grab a brush and wipe it off or for a better clean rinse it off with water. Although it doesn't work well with my 15.2 gelding, he is a very muscular and big boned guy. My suggestion is too use this cinch on smaller horses.

I was really excited when I purchased this cinch. If all you do is ride on a trail, and never really work your horse I'm sure it would be fine. However, when working cows or running barrels it's very unsafe, due to saddle slipping from side to side. It's also very uncomfortable for my horses, because they have to be cinched so tight inorder to "try" to prevent saddle from slipping.

As soon as my horse got sweaty, no amount of snugging up could keep my saddle from slipping from side to side. I do trail trials and Mt.trails. I really wanted this to work. I used it for a month and I finally gave up and put my old cinch back on,no more slipping.
