No Flies No More!, 5/31/2012
Two Horses from St. Charles, MO

This fly trap is the best we've ever used. Traps and kills so effectively I am reordering 30 more after the initial 10 worked so well. It is unbelievable how well this works. Would not use anything else!!

Gross!!!! It's full of dead flies!, 11/17/2011
Doyline from Doyline, LA

I put up a couple of these things and nothing happened for the first few days. Then the flies found them and it's really disgusting how many dead flies are in there. I'm ordering more since they work so well. Dead flies in the traps are gross but I'd much rather have that than live flies biting my horses or ME!

Very effective, 8/12/2011
Brandi from CT

I bought a couple different brands of fly traps. One caught 2 gnats and a moth (over several weeks), while this one had so many flies in it I can't even count! Commenting on the first reviewer, it did take a week or more before I started seeing flies in it; then BAM! It filled up very quickly. It is stinky, but I guess that's why the flies are attracted to it; the horses sniffed it once, curled their upper lip at it, and have not bothered with it at all. Will definitely stick with this brand for fly control.

Michelle Marie from Tollhouse,CA

Put three traps up and caught one fly in 24 hours.Mind you I have 8 horses and 9 dogs and it is 100 degrees currently.Should catch more than one fly.

Best out there..., 4/17/2010
MAC from

Three years ago I experimented with Victor and Rescue brands, in the various configurations offered, and in different placements. Victor outperformed Rescue by a significant margin -- I did not count the flies (nasty job), but in containers of equal size, the one with Victor was completely full (with flies laying eggs in their dead cousins) while the container with Rescue was practically empty. So, I'm sold on Victor. The bait is non-toxic, so "keep away from livestock" is not a required warning (as in this site). I would recommend to Horse.com that they offer Victor reusable containers, and the bait packs of three each... it is more economical to use -- with the only drawback of having to open/dump the nasty contents after 2 weeks or sooner if full.
