Horse thought it was fine, but within a day the thing was just covered in flies and flys#@#. Threw it out.

Uncle Jimmy's Hangin' Balls from Princeton, IL
I & my horse like the Hangin' Ball. The only thing is it comes off of the rope - it should go clear thru with a plastic tab on bottom side, so doesn't fall off.

I bought two for my horse and my mule. It wasn't hanging in my old horse's stall longer than two days, and the string came out. I had to break it up into small pieces and put a few in her feed every day. Defeated the purpose.
The one in my mule's stall stayed up longer, but as soon as he started to bite and play with it (isn't that why we hang them?), the string came out. Again, I broke it into pieces and put them in his feed. I won't buy it again.

My horses LOVE this toy!!! my 4-H group members all use it and we get a kick out of seeing the horses trying to play with it. it is a little sticky but nothing a quick brushing can't solve. we all got a kick out of the box too :))))

My four year old hanovarian/tb cross is absolutely in love with these. He definitely seems to like them more than any other kind of hanging toy. I have never had a problem with them coming off the string, either. They can get a bit messy, but its nothing a brush or damp rag can't fix. For the amount of enjoyment they provide him, I don't mind dealing with a little goop :)

My gelding loves it! He stays in at night & bad weather so it does help keep him occupied and less cribbing! However they are messy and his faces is usually covered in goop, i'll take it out during show season.

My two mini donkeys love these, the only problem is they have them pulled off the thin string and are rolling them in the dirt within an hour. If they could figure out a more secure way to hang or maybe a solid hole through them like a pony pop to hang these would be GREAT.

FANTASTIC! My horse loves this and has found some very unique ways to work the ball which in his stall confinement has helped him keep his neck supple. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My mare seems to like these. She has stall confinement for surgery so I hung this on a rope across her stall. I can tell she eats and plays with it. Her lips are all "dirty". But I'm happy that it is fulfilling some of her time.

My horse loves these. He is fairly easy on them as one will last him about 3 to 4 weeks. One of his stable mates goes through one in about 4 or 5 days!! They do keep the horses busy. The only bad thing is they get sticky seeds all over their faces!

My quarter horse had to come in from the pasture for the winter and he began cribbing
like crazy due to the boredom of stabling.
Uncle Jimmys balls have drastically reduced the amount of wood he looks for and has drawn his attention to these tasty treats. I agree they are a little messy, but minimial clean up compared to the negative effects of cribbing is a small inconvience.

We had a couple of doozy snowstorms that kept our horses inside thier stalls for several days. Not something they are used to at all and these balls were great at keeping them occupied and seemingly very happy. They loved them. Now....Stateline...where the heck are they they have been unavailable ever since. I really want to get more.

These are soooo much better than the likits. My horse wouldnt even touch his likit, unless I was holding it for him. But, he absolutely loves his Uncle Jimmys ball. When I have to keep him stalled, he will actually walk away from his hay when he is full to play with his ball. This makes me happy, because he is usually a glutton. Now, he saves his hay for when he is actually hungry!!

If you live anywhere that has flys DO NOT get this product. I hung it out in the barn and within 10 minutes it was covered in flies.
I threw them in the deep freeze hoping to kill off any fly extras already in there. They should come in handy when it finally freezes here.......

This is an awesome product. Kept my horse occupied for hours at a time! The only downfall is that is makes his face sticky. It definitely helped alleviate stall broedom!

They are way better than the lickits. They do last a long time. Anywhere from a week to several months. One horse finally finished his after several months. Make sure it does not get close to a wall or an edge or it will not last more than a couple days. One downfall to the product is the major stickyness on their noses, mouths and sometimes neck and mane. So, make sure you dont have this hanging if your ready to go to a show the nexk day.

I bought one each for my two mares. They were suppose to last at least a week. In less than a day all that was hanging was the string. They loved the taste, but too pricey to use very often.
