I've had these for close to 2 years and I can't say enough good things about them. My calf is too big and legs are too short for the zip up chaps so I set out to specifically find something with velcro. These are perfect and have held up extremely well. No issues, no problem, no worries! I love them!!

These chaps are great! I've had them for about 6 months now. Clean up well if you want. haven't fallen apart at all. I would say they run big, I measured my calf at a medium exactly and I can't use the very top velcro piece, I have to tuck it in...but even so, they work well and fit over all kinds of shoes...When I feel like splurging for a new pair, I will be ordering a size small in these.

these chaps are horrible, when they arrived, or the one they sent me, was torn. and they only sent me one.
i called them the next day,and they sent me some more. when they got here the looked ok, but on the first ride, the sued fell off. i do not recommed these to anybody, absolutely horrible!!

I chose these half chapps becaus I needed an inexpensive pair that could fit over my Ariat H20s. I was using a pair of expensive Kerrits half chaps with my other boots, but I only wore them one more time since buying these! These half chaps ar so incredibly comfy and any boot or leg can fit into them! I bout them in brown and they are a darker color than the ugly orange pictured, the even matched my boots! They have an extra layer on your calf that some half chaps don't have, they prevent your stirrup leathers from pinchng your calves. They provide incredible warmth in the winter, but are never to hot in the summer! They add extra grip and security that your jeans never give you. You never notice that you are wearing them, but they improve your lower leg position and protect your leg. I am absoloutely in love with these half chaps! They are far superior to so many other half chaps out there! They are my all time favorite half chaps!

I've never owned chaps before, but these provide great contact for me. I feel improvement in my balance with more contact. They run a bit large--my calves are spot on for mediums, but I have to cinch 'em up tight.

This is my second pair of these half chaps, my first pair I'm finally retiring after 5 years as they are coming apart at the seams! I'm an endurance rider, so I'm not too picky about appearance. It's all about functionality and these are PERFECT for what I need. We get into some pretty grungy areas in our sport, so not having zippers that get gunked up or break is really convenient. Also they fit over varying levels of socks and tights (and ankle braces). I highly recommend them for trail and general purpose riding! They're a little thicker than the normal half-chaps I find, which is actually great because of how much rubbing and beating up I take on trail. They are practically indestructable! They do collect the dirt and stains pretty easy because of the material but they still continue to work great. Awesome price for a great usable product!

These are great half chaps, I ride year round and the velcro allows me to add layers in the winter and shed layers in the summer and they still fit. They are easy to clean, after six years the stitchen is coming undone, but what can I expect I put them through a lot.

Although these chaps do not look the most professional, they get an A+ for practicality! They are 1) easy to put on, 2) easy to clean, 3) totally comfortable to wear, and 4) have great "gripability"! The velcro does get white fuzz stuck in it from my saddle pad, but that is easy to pull off. Mine are a little too big, (I ordered a small) but I figured the extra small would be, well, too small,:) so I was glad the velcro allowed for some leniency!

I got these half chaps for Christmas last year. I havnt had much of a problem with them. Except for the fact that, the first time I wore them dirt started to collect on the velcro. They arent very professional looking, but are great for just around the barn. I have the black ones, and yes they do fade where your leg is on the horse. They collect dirt very quickly, that is why they probably wouldnt be good for a show. I have went through ankle deep mud in them, along with my saxon boots, and they hold up well. Overall they are pretty good, and if you are not a show type of person (like me) you will love these. (:

I bought these about a year ago and I cannot say enough good things. Their price is good and they last a long time. The suede does rub off after use and they dont look at professional as the leather half chaps would, but they do great for anyone schooling around the farm. I would recommend this prodecut to any rider.

I have had these chaps for about a month i wear them every day to ride, the quality is good, although ive had to repair them already, the stitching that holds the Velcro on came loose and i had to restitch them, other than that they have been very good, i would recommend them.

I purchased these chaps about 6 months ago in brown. I wear them everyday at the ranch. They fit perfect and really improve the grip on your saddle. They stretch a little bit around the straps. I have spilled numerous items and liquids on them, but by looking at them you could never tell. They make a great gift for a young rider. I hope this helps.

These chaps were amazing! They were my first chaps so I bought the least expensive, but they turned out to be great! The velcro is very easy to close compared to the vipper chaps. The only downside is that the chaps stretch if you use them a lot and the velcro will eventually get dirty and won't work. I've had them for almost a year and they still work great! VERY EASY TO CLEAN
