I bought mine used but was stiff when I got it. Nose & brow band have plastic in them to keep their shape. Leather took awhile to break in but I use this bridle everyday now. In the rain I'm happy to use this it doesn't seem to get ruined like my good leather but still has a fancy look.

I bought this bridle about 3 months ago and have used it for an hour almost everyday. The throat latch leather was weak from the time I bought it and today the metal hook on the cheek piece broke out of the leather. This bridle did not hold up to light use. Wouldn't buy again. I'm not too disappointed because of the low price of bridle.

I wrote a review when I received but this weekend I put it up to a test on accident. My horse bucked me off and ran off with the reins flipped over his head and stepping on them and they were put through torture until he calmed down and the reins didn't even have a scratch or a hint of a tear in them I love this bridle it is the best and at a really good price!!

I bought this bridle intending on only using the heastall and putting on a new noseband and browband. I have to say, Im very surprised. I even bought a seperate pair of reins fully expecting I wouldn't be able to safely use the ones that came with this bridle, but their perfect! The headstal and reins are sooo supple and soft.. The browband and noseband on the other hand are very skinny, stiff and rough... I don't think I will be using them, but that's ok. For what I bought it for, I and very happy. Great buy!!

I love mine! It was very stiff, but I bought some neatsfoot oil, oiled it, and now I love it! I use it every time I ride, used it in my 1st show. The rains have to be oil though ever once in a while to keep from tearing.

I love this bridle!!!!!!! I got this for my first english bridle i got the brown and it matches my Derby Oringal saddle perfectly:) It fits my horse very nicely. When you first get it it is kinda stiff so you have to break it. The price is also very good. But overall it is an awesome bridle:):):)

I got this bridle a while ago at a tack sale. I wasn't expecting much, just a bridle to start my 4 year old mare in, but I was pleasently suprised! Of course, this is no show bridle, and I doubt it would hold up to loads of use, but the leather is fairly soft, and it looks decent when it's on my horse. Would be nice for trail ridding or something that you don't want a good bridle for. (The keeper's are useless though)

I found the throatlatch to be VERY long, its a tad big, on the last hole. The "leather" is very cheap and stiff. Overall it serves your purpose, I use it everyday and it hasn't broken. My horse likes it though!

Great quality for the price. Soft, supple leather, just have to be careful when oiling the first couple times as some dye comes off. All in all very worth it for the price, wont last you years but stands up exellent to every day wear!

The bridle actually looks really nice, I love the raised leather detail. The reins are terrible, as to be expected, I recommend spending another $15(!) on the matching rubber grip reins.
All in all, the leather is stiff at first, which, again, is to be expected, but the bigger problem is how floppy it gets later because of the thin quality leather.
Anyway, fine for a couple of days a week, but won't hold up more than a few months of daily use. You get what you pay for!

This bridle is great! It fits my warmblood and welsh pony great. Both the pony and oversized are great.I bet all the sizes are great. It does not matter about the plastic because it holds.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this bridle. I got a cob size for my 14.1 hand POA and it fit him pretty well. The only complaint I have is that the reins are not 100% leather, the lacing is plastic unlike in the picture. Other than that I can't complain and its a pretty good schooling bridle.
