i bought these a little over 2 years ago,..they are great for trail! they are plenty long enough and soft! i use them on my appaloosa(i just got him). the only downside is that they dont stay white for long, but at least you can put them in the washer!

These reins are amazing. I love how they are light weight cotton and 8 feet long. I can ride with them for hours and my hands dont get sore, I can also use them every day!! I like the fact that their long enough so that if I need to get after one of my horses, I can. I also like how they are wide and flat and if the horse pulls them or throws their head, you won't get any burns. Only downfall is that they almost touch the ground on one of my horses. But I like them too much to give them up!!

I have a hard time finding reins that not only feel great in my hands but that also are long enough for my 17hh mare. I love these reins because they're soft and give a nice "draping cover" over my horse. They are awesome for training, trail riding, and I even have shown in them! I love the way they feel and they are so strong. I have had mine for about 2 years and they're in perfect shape. They also are great for riding bareback.

I needed longer reins for my Draft X mare so I got these. The roping/training rein was 7 ft from bit ring to bit ring and with her length of neck barely reached my hands. These reins are 8 ft each rein so you get over 15 feet of rein. On my Draft they work great and do not hang near the ground, but on my daughter's average sized horse they do almost reach the ground. They are very soft and comfy to hold onto and because they're so wide are great for neck reining. Only problem is they do get heavy after a few hours on the trail.

These reins feel great. They are wide though, keep that in mind. But they seems like they will do a great job and you can wash them. The only thing is I wished they came in more color options. Whenever you get these the tags say they come in 5 or 6 different colors including pink! I wish SLT had pink. But besides that they are great!

Bought these for my son and have decided that they are too awesome!! I absolutely love them. When they get dirty you can just toss them into the washer!! I will definately purchase more of these.

These reins are soft and easy to hold. They do get heavy after riding for hours. I didn't realize that 8 ft. long reins will almost drag on the ground. It's difficult to keep them clean.
