Take up almost no space!, 8/19/2012

ColdWater Creek Quarter Horses from Milaca, MN

We are a training facility and have TONS of tack. We have close to 100 bridles and some are quite heavy, these hold up great and take up almost no space. I have a 60'x30' tack room and these take up a 20'x 10' space. Great product and reccomend to everyone!

Hold up for years. , 12/5/2011

Melissa from Fleischmanns, New York

Had 6 of these. One outside of each horse stall for about two years. Eventually the top piece breaks off, but being it is metal I just had my power tool savvy hubby spot weld them back on. Took about 5 mins and now I know they won't be breaking again. The PVC coating starts to crack and break away after about two years as well, but I need it to hold turn out halters, not look pretty. Also the green pictured here is quite frightful. Don't be scared to purchase the green as it is a hunter green, not neon. Overall I would purchase again if my hubbys spot welds don't hold.

Metal rack, 6/10/2011

Lauren from Belleville,WI

we have several of these racks in our barn and they work great in the tack room but out on the stalls they broke easily and several are missing the top piece. i love the price but wish they were sturdier like the brass ones.

Great Bridle Rack For The Money, 8/11/2010

Hilerie from

I just purchased 10 more of these bridle racks for my barn. I bought 5 and mounted them about 3 years ago and haven't had one bit of trouble with them. They are sturdy and hold the bridles in good form. I also hang other tack and accesories from them and they work great. Also you can't beat the price!!!

Metal Bridle Rack, 12/27/2009

Angie from Michigan

These look wonderful and hold up great in a tack room. But if you use them where a horse can bump into them, like on their stall doors for holding halters, they bend, peal, and break very easily. Don't know why they don't make them sturdier.

Realyl good!, 11/16/2009

Abby Ernst from MN

I bought four of these for my tack locker. They look nice and hold the bridles in a good position. In addition to bridles, I also use them for halters, and crops with handles. Durable for what I use them for. My barn also has many of these, but when used by lesson kids all the time, or weighted down with too many halters, they can eventually bust. But not as flimsy as the other reviewers say. When used correctly they're very good.

Durability Problem, 3/11/2009

John from Muskogee, OK

I have approximately 20 of these in my barn. Any amount of bumping or pulling on a halter, set of reins, or hanging lunge line easily breaks off the center post. But hanging high enough and taken care of, they work very well to keep tack organized.

works fine, 11/28/2008

Emily from iowa, usa

this works fine. it may not be made out of the most durable material but if it is in the tack room and just used for hanging a bridle it works great! : i haevnt had any problems with the paint peeling. overall it works fine for what it is used for. it isnt made for a horse to play with.

Not durable, 11/25/2008

Adria from Lake Oswego, OR

The PVC coating peels very easily and the metal is thin and bends without much force. My horse bent it the first time and I could bend it back into place with one hand. Lasted a few days before he ripped it off the wall completely.

Cheap and ineffective, 8/20/2008

from Cincinnati, OH

I love Horse.com to get all my horse supplies for our 40-horse barn, but these brackets are cheap and fell apart almost immediately. I ordered about 15 brackets a short time ago. They looked good once mounted, but the top rounded part disconnects from the base if any pressure is put on it and bends easily. I ended up taking them down, trashing them and using painted horseshoes instead to hold the bridles!
