We're Impressed, 10/15/2012

Peggy from Sonoita, AZ

We purchased several of these rake heads to replace our badly broken up ones. For example, we could get three of these for the price of one name brand and still have money left over. We're impressed with their durability and will pass the word around.

Could be better, but good for the price., 8/17/2012

Shay from AZ

It is a little flimsy, but as long as you aren't digging into hard aged manure or mud piles and keep your property pretty tidy it's a food fork. I would recommend it!

Great deal!, 2/12/2012

Beth from Wisconsin

First off, it does seem sturdier than my other forks, and I believe it's because of the 2nd row of horizontal connectors. Secondly, like others have said, the holes DO NOT match up if you're replacing a Future Fork. I got a few complaints from the hubby when he had to end up drilling a new hole, but when I told him it was $7.99 for this head only, and $18.99 for a whole new fork at our local store, he was okay with getting a little horse poop on his hands.

Good Replacement but some differences to note., 7/4/2011

Irisgreen from Bakersfield, CA

I work at a training barn and muck 30+ stalls a day. Some outdoor and some indoor box stalls. I normally use a Dura Fork but as with most plastic muck rakes the tines brake off eventually. Especially with the kind of daily use they get at my work. I purchased 4 of these "no name" replacement heads. First off I noticed the holes are not only bigger due to a larger bolt but they don't match up with the Dura Fork hole. So, after drilling a new hole in the handle I was ready to put my replacement head to work. Secondly, I noticed that the replacement head was a bit thicker made then the Dura Fork. The tines are slightly thicker and more rounded instead of pointed and slender on the end. Thirdly, There is also a noticeable cross brace half way down the tines. The cross brace and the thicker tines make this fork more sturdy then the Dura fork when using it turned over as a rake in wet stalls or mud. It seems to hold up and not allow the tines to bend backwards and risk braking them off as easily. But, the cross brace has it's down side too. In Summer months (as it is right now) the cross brace hinders the rakes ability slightly to slide under muck as easily as the Dura Fork does with out the cross brace. I think this replacement head is a good deal for the price and would work out great for winter months, wet box stalls or as a cheap replacement head for barns and businesses where employees keep braking tines. I think my Dura Fork out performs this replacement head in the summer months when there's no heavy lifting and most everything is dry. If the replacement head didn't have the cross brace it would be a tie. But, come winter I have a feeling the "no name" replacement rake will work better in the mud and is cheaper to replace in the long run.

VERY GOOD DEAL!!!, 2/5/2011

trackgirl from Vincennes, IN

My opinion on these replacement heads are....they are great! I bought 3, got all in blue, which is my color, but even with frozen poo in Indiana, the forks have been great. I am so glad I bought these instead of paying 15 bucks for one stable fork at a local store. I have had these for over 1 month now and I am very happy with the purchase!

Worst ever!, 11/26/2010

River Rock Farm from Browns Valley, Ca

These fork heads are far and away the worst I've ever used. Extremely weak, substandard imported plastic. Worst ever used.

sturdy fork, 11/16/2010

Ines Z. from Byers,CO.

I have been using the replacement heads off and on. I think they are great for the money. The only time I break tines off them is mostly in the wintertime, when the manure is frozen and I think it isn't,or I hit a clump of hard dirt.i don't have closed stalls ,so all is outside.

Replacement fork not worth the money, 3/21/2010

Linda S. from

I bought 4 replacement heads a year ago since someone is always breaking tines and I had lots of perfectly good handles. Every head except one has broken near the slot that slides over the handle within a week of putting it into use. So unless you never have heavy manure piled in a corner (my boys are good at this) or a heavy wet spot, don't buy this replacement head. It is cheaper in the long run to just buy a new fork.

I'VE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS, I DO WISH IT LASTED LONGER BUT USING IT THE RIGHT WAY, ALOT ,THE PRODUCT DOES WEAR & BREAK.OVER TIME. THE PERSON WHO WROTE SUCH A BAD REVIEW OF THE PRODUCT MAYBE NEEDS TO BE SHOWN HOW TO USE IT CORRECTLY! IT IS PLASTIC, IT WON'T HOLD REALLY HEAVY MATERIAL,POOP, ETC. IF YOU TRY TO USE IT FOR THAT COMMON SENCE TELLS YOU IT WILL BREAK!

This is a very sturdy replacement head. I love the price too - much cheaper than other sites. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

A terrible fork, 9/14/2009

Jay from California

I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about, but this is the worst fork I have ever bought. Even at the low price it is a terrible value. See the extra brace across the tines? That is because it must be made of such cheap plastic that the times break off!! Trouble is mine broke off anyways, and that was during the first use!!! I bought three because they were priced so cheap, all of them were broken the first day. Buy something else even if it costs more.

A pleasant surprise, 3/4/2009

Jim S from Stilwell, KS

The stall forks we were using were left in our the barn. They did a great job for 10 years and with the new replacement heads they could be around another 10 years. The only little glitch was having to drill a bigger hole in the handle. I was thrilled being able to replace the stall fork heads for 13 the price of a new fork. Its a pleasant surprise finding a well made product at such a reasonable price.

Great Tool, 11/1/2008

Cathy from Las Cruces, NM

I have used this one before and I am ordering more. They work well and it is the only one left on our place that does not have broken tines. The design helps to hold more when cleaning. We clean ten pens twice daily so it gets a workout and it is still in good shape.
