This is the same breastplate as sold by the manufacturer for about $30 - $40 less than what they sell it for. I'm glad I found SLT sold it as I don't think I would have paid the asking price from the manufacturer for it. It's fair quality. The hardware is rather cheap on it (not solid brass by any means,) and the leather is cheap.

This is an excellent product for the price. Nice tone of brown and leather is supple. The fit is just fine for my TWH who has the foundation stocky, large chest body type. Glad I purchased it.

This is a gorgeous breastplate. I wasn't really expecting it to be so nice. The color matches my saddle exactly. Something else that I was surprised about is that the brass buckles on the breastplate have the exact same design as the brass on my saddle. I would strongly suggest that you purchase this breastplate if you own an aussie saddle. It looks really nice attached.

I purchased this breast collar/plate after using a western Y with my aussie saddle. It worked fine but just did not look right, so I went ahead and purchased this one in brown to match my stock saddle. My horse and I love it! It does seem to run big, but that can be solved with a hole punch. I had to add 1 or 2 holes to the latch that runs from the breast plate to the girth ( my horse is a 15HH Tenn Walking Horse). I liked this breast collar so much I ordered another one in black, to go with my other saddle. I find with use the leather starts to get buttery soft and conforms to your horse.

my horse has a short body, more like a short front end, but shill wears a medium sized blanket. i had to punch holes in every single piece of leather on this, especially the piece fron the breastplate to the girth. The edges of the leather are very rough and harsh, I would never wear anything like this so why would i make my horse wear this again.
very disappointed

this is a great set up. the leather is supple and easy to get on and off. my only complaint was when i got it. upon looking at it all the metal had this green goo almost like erosion but when i touched it it was sticky like rubber. i got it off but im still wondering what it was. i also had to make some more holes to have it fit my girl. i have a 18h thoroughbred but her chest is small. all in all great product.

This is a well-made, good looking breast collar. Nice supple leather. Matches my Wintec Pro Stock beautifully.

Holds my saddle very well, when I got it, it wasn't stiff at all. It's a VERY nice product, and I'm VERY happy with it.

A little smaller then I thought, but will work on both my Appy & Quarter Horses (they both have large necks). The price is unbeatable, and the shipping came 2 days EARLY. The leather was heavier-duty then I expected for that price, and it made up my mind to submit more orders to complete my Aussie set up.
Good Products, Great Prices, and where I live, NO Tack shops sell anything for Australian Saddles. Glad I found a Company on the Inertnet I can trust, and this is the item that will make me a life long custumer.

This breastplate matches my Kimberly Outback economy saddle perfectly. I was very happy with it for the price I paid.

It is amazing other than the fact it is a little big on a 15hh QH, and I thought the buckles were sort of hard to ajust, but other than it it's very stylish and good leather!
