Percheron Rider from Wisconsin
I bought this saddle for my Percheron gelding. I think it fits him great and he seems to be a pretty hard to fit anything on him type of horse. I even rode my Appaloosa in this saddle and it fit her fine. The saddle is easy to maintain and comfortable. The only draw back I have with this saddle is the flaps seem to be almost too long, it tends to rub on my lower legs. It doesn't bother me enough to stop riding in it though.

Fitting my no withered, wide Arabian has been a challenge. The interchangable gullet system is amazing and great for my horse's ever chaning back. My only problem is my equine chiropractor stated the CAIR system actually makes horse's back's sore because there is no "give" compared to say wool panels. It is like full-blown ball bouncing off the ground. The CAIR system is half the reason why I chose to buy this saddle and the reason I am looking for a new one.

I have a very broadbacked, 13 hand paintWelsh cross. I could not find any saddle wide enough every English one I borrowed pinched her shoulders, and even my western, Crates one I have used on a hardtofit, wide quarter horse didnt fit her.
This one fit perfectly right out of the box. I just put a very thin, noslip pad under it, and it stays in place. I also LOVE the CAIR air panels. She moves beautifully, and my aching back doesnt take the pounding it did. I think it is the most comfortable saddle I have ever sat in.
The only snag I had with this saddle was that when it arrived, the extra two gullets were not packed in the box. It took a while to finally get the other two gullets from the manufacture.

I bought a round and mutton withered pony half Welsh half paint that I could not find a saddle to fit. Every one I tried pinched her shoulders, and if I stuck a big gel pad under them to get them off her shoulders, they didnt fit so well either. Even my western, Crates saddle I used on a quarter horse didnt really fit her. I was starting to think my only hope was an expensive custom saddle.
Then I bought this one with a Wintec girth, and it fit her perfectly! She is definitely more comfortable and moves better with no pinching.
The billets are set up to suit her roundness. Since the saddle has the CAIR and fits so well, I only use a little, 14 inch, no slip pad under it, There is no more saddle rolling when I mount, and the saddle is nice and comfortable for me too.
The only problem I have had with the saddle is that it didnt arrive with the two extra gullets, so I had to contact customer service, so they could get the manufacturer to mail me the extra gullets. That took a while, but I did get them.
