I remember my bareback pad from 1980 - took the stirrups off because if you shifted your weight you better hold on because you were going around the barrel!- This pad is amazing - the grip on the bottom and the girth works great - you can load from the ground and the extra padding is just enough for a long day out on the trail. Highly recommend it.

this is the first bareback pad i've owned, after years of hearing that they slide all over, as well as PC illegal to have one with stirrups i was leary, but based on the reviews and my desire to ride bareback with padding i bought it. LOVE this pad, it really does stick, at 130lbs, i can mount with minimal slippage - a person that relies alot on the saddle to mount it would likely slip a lot more. it fits my 16h lightly built/high withered oldenburg well (cinch size too!) he is very happy to ride in it long and low, walk/trot/canter, and great for training lateral movement because you 'feel' every step. my only complaint is that the stirrup ring location puts your leg more forward (western style vs dressage), and it creases right under the seat bones which left me bruised on both sides. HOWEVER I love this pad, its much better than riding on a towel to keep your rear dry, and i imagine with use the creases under me will soften. I would recommend this!

After several tries, we finally have a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner with this bareback saddle. It does NOT slip when mounting or riding. AMAZING. Add more color options soon!

I received my pad yesterday, I put on my horse right away. I didnt ride for long but did go around the yard, this pad was very comfortable. I did need help getting on because it slipped on me, but I dont have the strength to pull my self up quick so I pretty much knew I would need help getting on anyway. I am going to love this pad.

Received it yesterday, used it today for five hour trail ride. Very comfortable, seems to be very well made. Stirrups make it easy to mount, with non-slip bottom, did not move. Actually preferred it to my 1600.00 saddle. Have a feeling, going to be using it most of the time. Extremely satisfied.

When this pad came in, my boyfriend wanted one immediately - ordering another one right now. I love it, my Arabian loves it, it's put together well, and it doesn't slip.

This pad is very nicely put together. It is thick, comfortable and doesn't slide. I rode in this pad for a couple of hours without any slipping or soreness (myself or my horse). The stirrups were too long and manual holes will have to placed (I am 5' tall). Otherwise, a very nice bareback pad!
