After only using this pad ten times it had lost its comfort. I was disappointed. I read the reviews other posted and they had them for years and are still comfortable. My thoroughbred is high withered and by the reviews sounded as it would work for us.
It lost its comfort the holes in the billets are already stretched, the belly strap was never put on tight to stretch them. over all I do not recommend this bareback pad for bony back or high withered horses. I may be just fine for low withered, non bony backed horses.

I got one of these bareback pads a couple of years as a present. Im not a purple (plum) fan but I absolutely love this pad! It's so comfortable that of the three bareback pads I own, I always use this one! I've also used it under an eglish saddle as a pad for my lanky, high withered Saddlebred. Take off the girth, folded up the straps and it works great! The only thing is, I wish they made a version with stirrups. Love this product so much I'll probably buy another one in a color that I like :)

We have one of these at the barn I ride at, it's the only one I'll ever use. I was riding a 32 yr old, roach backed TB with this bareback pad and I was comfortable!!!!!! I've been told that the one at the barn is about 20 yrs old and I can tell you it still works great. It's been used on a 16.2 hh Percheron to a 14.1 hh paint pony. This bareback pad is great

We have this bareback pad at our stables I use it all the time it's THE BEST that's why I'm getting one!!! It's so comfortable and you can't feel your horses bony back. It also fits PERFECTLY on my horse's withers! I really recommend it!

Kensington really did a great job with this! Never slips around, plenty of cushion, works perfect with a saddle pad underneath. All the other boarders at my barn have this for their horses. We all love it! I found myself continually borrowing it from my friends because I felt vert secure in it, and I finally broke down and bought one. Worth every penny and the colors are so cute. I never ride bareback, but this pad is just wonderful, and now I ride bareback all the time! Great for anybody. Highly recommended.

i got this bareback pad from a local tack store and i really like it! i have a high withered thoroughbred with a bouncy trot so riding without a bareback pad is a bit uncomfortable, lol. this bareback pad provided some much needed cushioning, and it also provides some grip so i can actually stay on my horse! =) plus, the plum color is very pretty on my horse's light sorrel coat
