Here is the ultimate trunk for English or Western tack, trail rides, dog grooming, 4-H supplies, sporting goods, or any other storage needs. Hinged lid can be securely locked with a padlock. Heavy, solid wood carrying handles on both the trunk itself and the included tote tray. This trunk’s roomy size (43" x 22" x 20") can even accommodate an English or Western saddle. Without wheels. Can be used with padlock.

Good Product, 12/12/2010

I have kept this outside under a shed that is open and left in on the ground. I have standing wraps in it, 6-8 pairs of polo wraps, smb elite boots, woof boots, 5-8 saddle pads, a sheet, a blanket, brushes, you name it. It has kept everything in great condition. Nice product. I got the one with the wheels for better transportation.

The trunk is somewhat roomy, but you are getting what you pay for. I keep my saddle in the tack room, but my blankets and medicines stay in my box, and I don't have enough room for two blankets. The "removeable tray" is not a tote, it's just a tray, so don't plan on using it to carry around because there is no handle. Get what you pay for.

There is no way you could fit a western saddle inside this trunk. My dressage saddle doesn't even it. And it arrived somewhat warped, so the tray doesn't fit correctly. Not satisfied, but it's not worth it to pay to return it. Sheesh.

All Weather Tack Trunk, 10/6/2008

This tack trunk is of impeccable quality and has held up quite nicely over the past few years. Although this tack box is very tough and sturdy, I would definitely not recommend this trunk for outdoor use. Since there is no airtight seal, it leaks when it rains and on multiple occasions has flooded. But I would still recommend buying this if you are planning on keeping this tack trunk indoors.
