A rider from My room

I got this saddle from my local tack store on consignment it's sooooo awesome bcuzz it has a nice seat but... I had to buy stirupts sorry I cannot spell that but I also had to buy stirrup leathers so the cost was like about umm $3.70 something so that's really good get this saddle!!!!!!

Love my Bates saddle ! , 12/14/2010

Long time rider from Shiloh IL.

I have been riding in my Bates AP for over 5 years now and STILL Love it! Many people that have tried my saddle have bought their own. It has held up Very well to showing, trail riding, lessons and more. It's been through the wringer and still looks and feels great for me and my horses.

Not my favorite..., 10/6/2009

Rider from The Barn

This saddle is overpriced, weird fit, and truly uncomfortable. The tree is banana shaped, like most of the Wintec/Collegiate/Bates trees. It runs wide.. and it caused my horse sores and discomfort! The leather was very nice, the dye ran, but it's defineatly over priced! Do yourself a favor and get a used County or Circuit. Bates are not a nice brand!
