I used this bag when I went on an 8hr ride in the mountains and I loved it! It didn't rub my horse and kept my drinks cool! I highly recommend it. It's a great bag for the price!

keeps drinks ice cold, 12/1/2009

We bought these bags after the rings ripped off another bag. We load 6-7 or so 12oz drinks in each side with ice. These bags worked well through the summer. The plastic inserts keep them from leaking out all the cold water from the ice. They kept our drinks cold on all day rides in 95 deg heat. We did wear them out and the ring on the cantle bag ripped off during a ride. We try to also tie them with our leathers now. We will buy more. They don't last but a few months, but are well worth the money.

fell apart the first ride, 8/29/2009

this bag fell apart on my first light trail ride. It will not stay centered and doesn't have enough grommets to attach to most saddles adequately thereby ripping from minimal wear at various attachment points.

EXCELLENT!!!, 6/11/2009

These are the BEST saddle bags I have ever owned! Also the least expensive! I use insulated inserts, but I'm not sure they're needed with these bags or not. I ride really rough trails and, and I keep ice for several hours. I also like the cantle bag. I've never had one this big that lays flat and doesn't stick up and look stupid! The only problem I've had is the connector hooks pulling out (only on the brown ones for some reason) but I just tied it to my saddle with a leather strap. It certainly didn't stop me from buying more of them! An item I couldn't live without, and wouldn't settle for any other!!!
